he only ‘good’ thing about dialup internet was you had to spend time wisely on the internet, couldn’t really be on the internet for hours on end like you can today without much of a problem.
I worked for 9 years at a local ISP during the dial-up era. There were several customers with extra phone lines who stayed connected near-continuously. It became a problem when the business grew and busy signals sometimes occurred on dial-up attempts. I'd occasionally each day check the active connection list in RADIUS then log-in to the modem units and disconnect the long-terms, which they'd immediately reconnect anyway. A few complained. The service was advertised as "unlimited" which was intended to mean no limit on how many times per day/week/month one could dial-in ... not that a connection could stay up continuously until the user was in his grave.

cascade fresh scent

To me, Cascade fresh scent smells like super strong chemicals instead of that crisp scent. This is why I switched to Finish. At least the strong scent is more tolerable. And I can't stand the excessive froth that Cascade does. It's like my dishwasher's on labor! For real! I'm serious! Don't even get me started...

The scent is really generic like dollar store brand…it’s ridiculous. I use the dawn platinum lemon, love it. Cascade pacs and powder doesn’t smell as good as it used to years ago. They still complete gel line is actually quite similar to how it smelled years ago but a bit different. I love the new Mountian scent cascade has but it’s only available in the platinum plus which I can’t use in my soft water, that scent is undeniably accurate & reminds me of the smell of the outdoor air during a thunderstorm and isn’t too strong. They did well on that one.

I miss when P&G had fun and made cool scented cascades, like the Thai dragonfruit, Mediterranean lavender, New Zealand springs and gain scented actionpacs as they made years and years ago, over ten years now. That Mediterranean lavender was really something else! It was phenomenal and I don’t even like lavender that much. The entire house smelled like it during a cycle. It’s 2025 now. Why can’t they make like a cherry lime detergent? Or an apple & pear scent? Or a cedarwood pine scent? It’s always the generic “fresh” scent or their lemon which is a nice scent who doesn’t like lemon but it’s time for something new to add to the line that doesn’t just apply to the platinum pacs
