I was listening to NPR on the way home today and heard a story about 2 German engineers who were kidnapped from a detergent factory in Iraq. My question is - detergent in Iraq???? Who would put one in that country with all the other problems they are having!! I wonder what brand? mmmmm

They do in Saudi Arabia

My brother was in the Air National Guard in Saudi Arabia two years ago and he brought hom the boxes of their version of Tide. The boxes are very small and has directions for hand washing. They did have GE washers at the base, though.

With all the problems they have in Iraq, Tide would help. Nep

Maybe the Shiite dominated government is working o a secret new washday product: Pers(ian)il.

Seriously, I recall that detergent factories in Iraq were the subject of suspicion, if not bombing targets. I understand that the process used to pelletize detergents and enzymes if similar to that used to make pathogens such as anthrax more air dispersible.
