I know this thread is really about laundry detergents, so I hope I’ve not hijacked this thread, but I saw one message about dishwasher tablets here.

I loathe and despise fabric softener. Not a drop has ever entered my Hootag and never will.

Oh, that's not unusual. A lot of people feel that clothes rinsed in fabric softener feel oily-ish and artificially soft.
