Okay now things are getting odd. The rinse water had suds even though the main wash and the 1st rinse had no suds. I dont know what to do now. Could jet dry be to blame?

Oh and to add more, i opened the door to check the suds, they remained! at the bottom during the last drain cycle. Can't belive i didn't know i was drinking that....
Rinse Agents Are A Blend Of Surfactants
Which explains why you are seeing froth. Ideally the product should "rinse away" mostly during the cycle with perhaps only traces amounts remaining. If your DW detergent has rinse agent included try turning the setting down to nil and see how it affects things if at all.

Which leads to another thing i forgot to mention. I decided to use the powder again today and oddly enough all of it desolved. Currently we have cascade platinum and the powdered version. So now i know for sure its the rinse aid. And im going to try to set it to 1 now. It was set at 2. Thanks! Il update you the next time i use the dishwasher!
IIRC most dishwashers prime rinse aid well before the next cycle starts. Could be soon as the door is opened after a cycle is complete and before the next. Therefore it could be one or two cycles before a new setting takes hold.

Our dishwasher works best on powdered detergent. It's a Maypool. Our water hardness needs only half a dispenser full of detergent to work properly. However when we use those gel packs of Finish or Cascade we notice a cloudy film on the glasses.
To fix this we set the dishwasher to Normal Wash but no heated dry. Then when that cycle completes we run it through a "Quick Wash & Rinse" cycle with no more detergent added. I'll tell you everything comes out just spotless. Water doesn't foam when you fill up glasses from the dishwasher. This cycle only takes 20 minutes of washing (and two rinses) and a 30 minute heated dry cycle.

For this load i set the rinse aid selctor less then 1. Still got foam in glasses when filling them with water. I'm so tempted to stop using rinse aid now.
