What ideas do you guys have out there for your dishwasher other than washing dishes? Some may not have to run a full cycle, maybe only a rinse hold will do, who knows?
I have:
steamed fish in mine
washed brik/brak nick nacs
sterilized toothbrushes and sponges(also, veg steemer does same)
rinsed silk flower arangements
cleaned fabric softner dispenser
washed baseball caps
sterilized/preheated jars for canning
cleaned filters --hepa type, aquarium, stove hood, vacuum, exhaust fans, dryers,
baby/childs plastic toys
globes from chandeliers, ceiling fans
for tall tub owners -- shelves from fridge, grates from grills
and then there are people (not me) who put their dentures in there, battery operated personal devices, handcuffs(sometimes me...lol), sneakers, bird feeders, etc.
What do you guys use yours for, out of the ordinary?
just find that it can get into all those nooks and crannies better than handwashing and a toothbrush.........
my brother even wants to put a dishwasher in the garage as an automatic parts washer!..I wonder if it would work? he does put his wrenches in there to make them shine and clean all the grease and oil off...who knew
