Dishwasher warning

If we wipe down the edges of the door with a bleach/water solution will that stop this from happening?

Whirlpool, probably would work,  but i think most of us wipe the gasket a couple of times a week, but  no doubt there are some out there that never have been wiped down.  Its also this penny wise pound foolish mentality IMHO,  our water heat is set on extreme scalding danger,  which probably = very hot in the 1970's.  I do care about the planet and global warming,  but i think hot water should be HOT. alr2903
