I have only one hook up and moved the A206, to use it for a while, it seems to pump water out much faster than the 90's dependable care machines. Water run out of the built in the wall standpipe. Did the early 80's machines drain faster? alr2903

Does

your newer model machines have the built in siphon break? If so, it will slow draining somewhat compared to the older machines without.

The drain hoses from all 3 come out of the circular plate on the back. I am sorry that i do not know about the siphon break, but i do know all thing being equal the A206 overwhelms the stand pipe drain. The strange thing is the 2 newer ones are Lg. cap. (even more water) and the little 206 swamps the drain. thanks guys for the info. When i get little extra money i think i am going to get a plumber i have lots of plugs on the wall, And they are in a semi basement area. alr2903

what I do know is that there IS a conversion pulley for the motor that makes the pump go faster for say use in a basement when it has to pump higher and you may have this one installed, there's a parts store near me that has them, it appears to have the drive pulley and the pump pulley the same size, which makes the water pump out faster, about 35/40 seconds compared to 55 normally, no anti-siphon installed, an 8 foot hose now has to be strapped down in the tub because it now blast out like a rocket

you may need a plumber, but first try pouring some lye/acid down the drain, and flush with hot water you have heated on the stove to boiling, run a garden hose down the drain to flush, or even run a snake down there before calling a plumber...you may just have detergent/softner/lint buildup

just a thought!

Yogi, bpetersxx, thanks for the add. info. Will probably move the DC i know not to have issues and see if i still have a problem. Yogi will work on the drain if thats the issue, i need a plumber anyway, i want to hook up more than one. thanks
