Years ago I rented a room off a buddy....He never wanted the heat above 60 degrees...FREEZIN...so I used to go down stairs, put the washer on a HOT wash cycle, and turn the dryer on the longest time cycle and fall asleep on top across both with a heavy blanket...never thought to just warm the blanket inside the dryer, brain dead I guess....just did what you had to do at the time, yeah like running that electric dryer all night was cheaper than turning the heat up!
