For those of you who are considering incorporating a gravity drain system into your washing machines or dishwashers, this may help you. They are a little on the high side in price, but there is always Ebay. They come in both 110V and 220V, make sure that you choose a dump valve of the correct voltage for your application. One other thing, the dump valves have to have current applied to them in order for the valve to close.

didn't you tell me

they were used on commercial machines? any perforated tub washer that didn't have a working pump could use that for drainage.

i'm running a 2" gravity drain line on one of my frigidaires but i don't need a valve on it. thanks for the info!
