Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Wow, I happen to have to matching washer to that WP dryer in the Pittsburgh ad...
Hmmmm... Hubby has a conference there in July and he said he'd be renting a van.... LOL

Those do look like TOL GE's and they are a total steal at that price.  The washer looks like the harvest one Nate and I hauled down to Roger last year.  We all agree that it's the quietest Filter-Flo we've ever (barely) heard.

Teh washer next to the WP dryer is a Maytag Dependable Care. Wow I dind't know my GE dryer ever came in coppertone, looks very sharp. Yes, that's the model right above my washer, it is TOL with the 5 programmed cycle buttons that date all the way back to the fir FF washer with the cycle keys ya touched back in like 1957 or 1958. I cannot quite make out all the detail on the timer, but it looks like the Perm Press cycle has the "whirlpoolish" cooldown sequences of partial drain while spraying. Then stop, fill with cold water and agitate for several minutes and then spin out water before rinse. That sequence wasn't on GE washers for very long, a year or two and mine had it too. typical GE cooldown was just an extended spin spray begun once the water level switch was "reset" afterr enough water drained from the tub.
