Yes i thought it looked a bit familiar i gave Mike (chesterfield) an Electra washing machine some time ago

It is always nice when unusual items turn up

That Electra you had Gary was the first auto my mother had, she got it when she parted from my dad and setup a new home. It lasted quite a few years, the tub rusted and leaked for some time, just put an old towel down to soak up the water.

Funnily enough, my nan had one of these installed in her garage as a second machine, hers might have been a Creda model. It flooded the garage in the end. Seemed like her Hotpoint WM41 just wasn't enough for her!

yes they do seem to have been popular, i remember the thread Paul did on Creda machines and what an interesting range over the years they did.

Now there is a familiar sight! That Jetsystem above is the machine I grew up with from 1995 - 2006. Although, I'd hardly call it vintage.
