hoover logic 1300

Hello all

This one is quite cool and rare from my point, as it's got two thumb slider selectors and it's 1300 spin, fast for oldy!
started at 1p, gone to 30 quid!

Love to have it but too far away! And my gran had the same coloured 1200 spin logic.

Logic 1300

I always thought the logics were the best of the Hoover square door machines, i owned a white logic 1300 and it was a great machine.

I have only ever seen two computer control logics in my life, one at a freinds house many years ago and one in a skip.....a rare beast me thinks

hi gary

have you still got your logic 1300?
was/is it like the one above or the one like darren (newwave1) with digital display for delay hours? and on the above machine whats the second dial for? is it for delayed start.

logics

hello dyson

I no longer have the logic, it was identical to Darrens, i think it is an A3636....great machine, i liked the delay start, i would sometimes use this to soak washing. also the spin cancel i liked, in the summer, i would use this and then select a low spin speed to reduce the creasing
The spin balance sensor worked it would reduce the spin speed until the switch was no longer making contact, simple but effective.
It served me well

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish i lived down south now :-( I would love to have that washing machine! Wonder if it still has the induction motor...

Shame it has no chrome door though!

Philco Bendix 71258

Hi Folks,
Wow a 71258 in the rare brown trim, the vast majority of 71258's were sold with white trim which was very much in vogue at the time.

David the 71258 did indeed have an Electronically Controlled Induction Motor, it was controlled by the new Integrated Circuit Module. Believe it or not the new Module actually made the huge Induction Motor run even quieter than the earlier Electronic Module, quite an accomplishment as the 7168 was a very quiet machine. The spin acceleration curve was also reduced to reduce suds lock issues. They have Stainless Steel outer tubs, are extremely quiet and reliable washers and deliver outstanding wash performance. In my humble opinion they were vastly superior to the Hoovers and Hotpoints of the day; they were so much more refined and did not dance through the house with out of balance loads, at top 1000 spin all you heard was a smooth quiet hum and the whoosh of the Motor cooling fans.
I do hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it.

David

Oh bloody hell!!!

No word of a lie, I have literally just e-mailed Alex (SuperElectronic) and here are my parting words:

'I am just hoping that nothing spectacular comes onto ebay - just need a bit of calmness, even if it is just for 10minutes or so'.

& then a servis 310 comes along.
What is worse is that it is 4 junctions up the M1 from me!

Sigh! What to do.

The Bendix!

A bit late in the thread I know, but I must just comment on that great machine!! We had the 800rpm spin Washer Dryer version, that really was a great machine, we had it about 14years and to this day mum still swears by that machine!

Not to sure about the model number, anyone know what it could have been?. I always remember how quiet it was even to its last day, then when we got the Bosch Maxx, I was really confused about what that high pitched whining noise it made during spinning, I wasnt used to it LOL ( back then I didnt know much about washers LOL )

So great to see these machines about, there really rare :(

Richard

Sorry Darren - the Hotpoint's are staying - LOL

what is also sooo irritating is that, over the last 6 months, there have been two matching Servis 210 dryers on ebay - both in bloody Derby!!!!

Could you be tempted Darren? its a bit further away from Lincoln, but the distance is not insurmountable. Would mean that i didnt have to spend the next 4 days trying to decide what to do.

Ta ta
Paul
