And a 9934 washer/dryer in chester! I'd LOVE to have this! Bit far for me i think!

The brown catch reminds me lots of people who had repairs and the engineers only had brown buttons n put them on white machines! or the other way around! lol!

Sorry i've misplaced the link! need to find it again!

Flipping heck and.....

......bloody hell!

I have spent all evening doing a trawl - even specifically searched the word 'Servis' in all categories and managed to miss this!

'Not that i need another one:P As i have one!'....just checking with you Darren - are you really not interested in it yourself?

I ask cause, well, I bloody well am but want to make sure that, were I to make a bid, I wouldnt be ruining your chances.

Just after a bit of confirmation from you.

Cheers
Paul

Well my model is very similar, and i don't have the space, if i did manage to take advantage of my parents garage and squeeze another in, it would need to be something special and different from what i've got!

Your welcome to bid on it! I was tempted but no. honestly. you go for it

Darren

Go for it Darren!

Seems that we are being drip fed some real classics at the moment - I see that Lavamatjon has just bought himself a really stonkingly good classic machine!

Congratulations to Jon. be sure to take a number of people with you to help - it will weigh an absolute ton and be sure to introduce us all to it when you have it settled in.
I am so pleased that it has been preserved - well done!

me and rob have just been tinkering with a new purchase too, which we picked up on Friday evening - something a bit different from our usual purchases.
Will introduce you all to it shortly.

Cheers
Paul

hey darren

go for it, i also saw that listing and thought i hope someone on automaticwasher gets it.
at the moment it's got no bids starting at £15 so go for it.
did this machine distribute whilst draining like the hotpoint 9534?

The 9526 does distribute the same as my 9534. I had a 9537 when I lived away from home and this did too!

In fact they distributed the same way through to the WM11 etc.

Tom

oooh.

i didnt know the later models like the 9526, 9537 etc, distributed whilst draining, thanks hotpoint 9534.
And hows hotpoint coping/doing with daily household use?
hows peoples remarks (family members)?
I had a 9534 about 5 years ago, got rid of it working because it didnt look nice with new kitchen. Got a servis which lated 6 momths lol!

Hey guys!
I've got to have this, unless a hotty with a spinslider turns up to change my mind!!!!!!!!

I had a 9534 growing up and loved it and miss it alot too. I'd love this in my kitchen but i don't think the wife would allow it, it would have to be abit more modern like my old WM43!

Yes congrats jon! i nearly fell off my chair at work when you txt me about the machine!!

Darren

Luckily my family aren't at all fussy about what's in the kitchen. As long as it washes well, that's what matters. My mum actually prefers the 9534 to the Siemens it replaced.

The 9516, 9526, and 9536 machines were the first to have the slightly larger drum (without the metal rim around the front), but the last not to have the Aquarius 'technology' (a few holes in the drum paddles). The 9525, 9535 etc have the same drum as my 9534 but have the newer flush door and 'pecker' type interlock.

Tom

I'm trying to work out weather this one has the half load button or the superrinse button, if its not an aquarius it should be a half load button!!

I've been given an extra day off from work tommorrow so im goin for a nosey round the recon shops:D:D Then if theres nowt there i will def have this hotpoint!!

Darren

Woo you go for it Darren there are some nice machines about at the mo, and if your really bored on your day off you can come and help me get Jons vintage Lavamat purchase out of my car. I picked it up today for him but it weighs a ton and is going nowhere at the moment lol.

Steve

After looking at a manual for a 9527 (closest model i could find a manual for) I do believe the one your after on eBay is not an aquarius. It does not have the green "Aquarius Wash System" label above the progs, and judging by the length of the words on the second button from the top, it says Half Load.

Hope This helps!!

I hope you get it! Tho halfing your final spin speed could be a problem, unless you have a spin dryer?!

Dan

Well i'm off for a trott round the recon shops, may have to find somethin with higher spin! We'll see what i find tomorrow. Plus don't think i'd be allowed that in the kitchen after the flashy wt960g

D

LOL.

I think anything from the recon shop may be an improvement on the hottie! LOL

Hows it running with the new suspension?

Dan

Surprizingly it balanced first time for a couple of spins! But has now resumed to its normal 6 or more redistributions. more stable though.

Time for it to be placed on ebay i feel.

D

Oh well... Mine's acting funny lately, think it may need a new eeprom (SP?)

Was looking up the cost of spare parts for them last night.
£133 for the 3.5phase motor
£126 for the 3.5phase motor adaptor

Theres £259 straight out! I only paid £299 for the whole machine lol
