Need to cull my detergent stock as much that is surplus to requirements. So am offering the following:
Ecolab Solid Super Star Detergent
1 Full Canister
1 Half Full Canister
This detergent is meant for commerical linen laundries and is POWERFUL stuff. Mainly STPP (phosphates), Sodium Carbonate (washing soda), and Surfactant, one only needs a small amount to clean the most soiled of wash loads.
Designed to be used with Ecolab's dispenser system, and used in top loading and "homestyle" washing machines. After finding out the proper ratio for commercial use (not an easy feat as Ecolab wouldn't play nice, finally had to spend hours on Google); 3-5 grammes cleans well in my 11lb front loader, and one probably would only need a max of 10 grammes in the largest of top loaders. I weigh out dosage using a small coffee can scoop onto a piece of wax paper, then bung the amount into the detergent dispenser drawer.
This detergent is very low foaming, in fact the first few times I thought my wash was not going to be clean as the water draining after the wash cycle had no foam. But, that was wrong as the detergent got out everything. If one uses too much it will however create lots of suds that will take much rinsing to remove. I know this because the initial wash loads with this product I dosed at full coffee scoops and Whooo-Nellie! Boy there were suds.
This product does contain scent, which Ecolab describes as "light floral". If one over doses the scent will be strong, but much goes away after items are dried. Still can smell the scent, but that may because I line dry, not sure about line drying.
Anyone interested please make me an offer, sadly because of the cost (took an entire case), cannot "give" away. Shipping might be pricey as the canisters weigh about 5lbs full. Email is fine of one wants privacy.
WARNING:
One must NEVER allow the undiluted concentrate detergent to come in contact with skin. If skin contact does occur, the affected area must be cleaned with soap and water at once! This was the only bit of advice Ecolab would give out. I use washing up gloves whenever handling/dosing this detergent, and goes without saying to keep out wee one's and pets reach.
