Electrolux 4.7 cu ft Residential Washer

Anyone here tried the Electrolux 4.7 cu ft washer?

It's the one with the reversible door.

It came out a couple of years ago, and I'm now seeing them at Lowe's. Not the least expensive washer out there, but I'd like to know how people's experiences are with it.

Wow! That's like 15kg (33 lbs) worth of wash!

Over all it's a very good machine.
The cycles are some what flexible but I still more control of cycles. As for cleaning, it's excellent and the key to balance loads is not to overload.

Which model washer do you have?

As I recall, there is a base model, with a simpler display, and a "wave" model, with a more complex display and more "favorite" selections.

The real capacity is 4.05 cu.ft. per Energystar.gov. That's 11 kg. I wonder what the Expert Care System on the newest 'Luxes is all about. It says: "Expert Care Wash System is a unique programmed wash action that uses up to 10 combinations of wash speeds, clothes rotation direction, wash time and pause to soak time for everything you wash."

I have the wave touch and used the IQ for a short time, both performed well. I wish that they have water level switches for those who prefers higher water level on certain loads than the one size fits all standards....
