Electrolux pathetic new top loader washer/dryer combo

What amazes me is that this machine ever got into production. There must have been all sort of meetings amongst the design/engineering/marketing people for this thing. Did no one stand up and say what a crock it was? I would have! It is one of the dumbest ideas I think I have ever seen where washing machines is concerned. I had to watch and read the postings and comments a dozen times before my brain would actually accept the fact that this was the drying cycle! Imagine the wear and tear on the poor laundry!

And where are the lint filters on this machine-would think with the VIOLENT shallow water agitation and dry agitation-this would generate a LOT of lint.would think two lint filters would be needed-one for wash-rinse-the other for the "paddle" dry.think I will pass on this machine-BUT-the dial made interesting noises when turned to select cycles.The washer may be better as a MUSICAL INSTRUMENT!

Air Flow...

There may not be enough air flow through this machine to carry lint to a filter.
