Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Hi Al,
the modern TV is a "Komet" by Kuba. If I get this right the Company Kuba-Imperial was more of a Furniture manufacturer depending on equipment from others.
There were lots of vintage radios and TVs to see but unfortunately didn`t take more pictures.

I read that the Komet TV's had a remote controlled swivel base so you can oreient the cabinet for best viewing.Would have liked to see that work! Also the set had a mono Hi-fi system built into it.

the very early TV's had electrostatic deflection-like most oscilloscopes so they were limited to the small screens.Magnetic deflection-the magnetic deflection yokes allowed for TV's to have larger screens. Also in the early sets they didn't have the higher voltage power supplies later TV's had with larger CRTs.
