Just noticed that maker of working model steam engines and steam vehicles has closed up after many decades...

What a shame but I guess kids aren't interested in those things anymore... I had a Wilesco stationary upright steam engine I got as a present when I was around 9 years old. I loved it... would hook it up with belts or string to power things I made with my meccano set. Meccano was UK sort of like erector sets.

A neighbor had one. When he ran out of the fuel pellets, he used match heads dipped in cooking oil until he blew it up.
