I remember this model
I remember this model being in a trade publication a few years back if I'm not mistaken the Equator corp filed chapter 7 right after selling a ton of combos to Montgomery Ward before they filed chapter 7

I prefer a regular front load combo. I liked my old Equator the best. I am sorry I gave it up!

That pull out lint filter would presumably make it a "Vented" model, that would be different or like the older bendix etc...which given climate conditions could be a winner rather than condenser models..
Washer Dryers are seen here as a standard now where spacing is an option, I wish you guys could try Hotpoint Ultima range to see how they could be of benefit..
Have sold these to many family and friends over the past 5yrs and have had great results with few issues.
Featuring 8kg wash 6kg dry capacity, super fast spin, condenser drying, sensor dry and what makes the drying fast is the use of "Thermal Spinning" after the wash a long max fast 1600 / 1400 spin, then when the dry programme starts 20 mins into tumble and heat it starts a super fast spin (cottons / Towels) and really reduces the drying times..
lets hope this Equator can be a winner!!

I hope this machine comes on the market and they know to deliver quality from the beginning.
The odd thing is that 7 years ago this machine was already designed. Here's a picture I saved on April 18th 2006. The name back then was the Equator Cobra.

DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!!
I saw this P.O.S. and, it may look nice and sound like a great idea but,after 3 years in the making, it still didn't work. They are probably up to no good. Trying to get some buyers to invest in a few so they have some money in their pockets. I worked for them a few years ago and it was the worst job I ever had. My paychecks would bounce and their electric bill, water bill, and phone bill were always either late or not paid due to bounced checks they write.I was given a list of stores and service companies to call and reopen closed accounts with and got cussed out, screamed at and threatened by the receiving ends.They NEVER built their own units as Atul claims. They purchased them from Philco of Italy until they were sent some faulty machines. Once they won the suit they filed against Philco of Italy, the money was supposed to go to customers, dealerships, parts companies,and service companies they owed money to. Instead, they built a business building in Houston,bought a massive home, new Mercedes cars and vans and paid a Chinese washer manufacturer to make the new models.Nobody anywhere will do repairs (at least,not while I was there) because they rarely get the money owed them by Equator.I dare anyone here to call any of their local appliance repair service companies and ask if they fix Equator or any of their affiliates.I'll bet they either hang up or tell you their own sob stories about how much Atul owes or owed them.BUYER BEWARE!!!

New Equator Combo Washer-Dryer ?
This machine will never happen for many reasons { read Chucks post above ] and if it did ever come about it could make the Saber look like the best washer ever, LOL.

A pity that they have problems with their quality. The whole idea of an H-axis topload combo washer dryer is not new. They have been on the market here in Europe for ages. You see them quite a lot in France, but with a smaller capacity in a much smaller cabinet ofcourse. I bet there would be a market for it in the USA, especially in cities with small apartments.
Louis, a 115 volt combo is an exercise in futility, especially if it has a condensing dryer. In an apartment that means tying up the sink for hours while the thing dries. It is sad that nothing has been done to address this.

A few times, at that job,I was asked to go along with the "tech" who spoke 99%Spanish.I was there to look and diagnose the units. One Wazz way the hell out on Galveston. We were short on gas and lectures hours late due to backup on I8. Once we arrived, we saw it was a mobile home. The set up was a stacked set The washer ran fine but the dryer was having issues scraping metal on metal . Louis,the tech,called to explain to Atul the problem.While they were talking, I looked inside the dryer and was horrified to see how they made the dryer using the combo inner and outer tubs. In fact it had every part as the combo minus the drain pump and fill valves.Louis hung up saying "Let's go!". Then,he grabbed a can of WD 40 ,opened the dryer door and began spraying the area around the rubber boot only quieting the running noise,not the friction.I grabbed the dryer,threw it on the truck and told Atul WD 40 is extremely flammable and being a motorhome,propane is not a good item to have around.I ordered a different dryer with a real dryer appliance design. That's just wrong. It's only one of many ukkuffs I saw while there.

I had recently stumbled on Atul Vir's "kickstarter"-type campaign, mentioned by Laundromat above.
It seemed like a very odd way for an established appliance maker ("maker") to go about raising investment funds for a new product. If the project had merit, I wondered, why could they not get traditional funding through regular investors or business loans? I guessed either the project didn't have merit, or they had a reputation for burning their investors/creditors.
