Is kind of rare here, ive looked for some for years, mostly what was sold here was Miracle Maid,Wear Ever,Aristo Craft, and Townecraft, I have my Aunts Presto Pride she got new in 59,I need more cookware like I need more vacuums...!
Rena Ware isnt common here either Hans, Saladmaster and Lifetime were common here.
I have 3 pieces of Rena ware, the electric skillet, electric 3 qt saucepot, and 6 qt dutch oven, they were given to me from a friends mother in laws estate
I know I've mentioned this before, but Rena Ware is GREAT cookware! We have my mother-in-laws set that she bought in the mid 1950's, and aside from the handles looking a bit rough, it is still turning out great meals. I like the fact that it is such a nice heavy gauge stainless steel. When vintage Rena Ware comes up on Ebay, it often goes for big money. Congrats mister!!!
Estate sales are great. What great finds. It will soon be 'yard sale/estate sale' season here at the beach. Often when a 'small' house is sold as a teardown to make room for the megamansion there are great sales with great bargans.
Straffordshire Liberty Blue. Yes, its chintzy but my grandma had it. I recall eating off it as a kid, and when she passed I got the set. Always like picking up new pieces, especially for a buck.
I saw this on estatesales.net and I was pretty sure it would be gone by the time i got to the sale. Was thrilled to get it for $12.50. My first white mixer, and my first Dormeyer!
