Estate sale haul!! Vacuum, cookware, Xmas lights!

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

You had some good sales the last couple of weeks - Hans, that cookware is unbelievable. Such a deal! Was it made by Regal? Looks like the Duncan Hines, Regalware, Amway Queen, Cutco etc. They still make this cookware, in Wisconsin I think.

The Hotpoints were fun to see - I've seen washers scooted away and replaced due to a DIY repair gone wrong. Those early versions could be bears to work on as they changed almost every year or so. Very early dryer!

A friend and I brought home quite the bounty today - a rare week indeed. A Hoover Mod. 82 Constellation, KitchenAid A-9 coffee mill, Structo toy washer, a whole bag-full of Kromex canisters and shakers among other goodies.

Greg,

Just curious to know how many of these appliance dealers are still in business?  Rena Ware was, and still is headquartered in Seattle.  They may subcontract the manufacture of their cookware to WI makers, but I don't know for sure.

Eric, that Star of David rimmed plate is quite collectible, at least around here.  We have 2 of the large size, and 1 medium size.  I found the 1 large & medium plate at flea markets for just a couple bucks each.  The other plate my wife bought at her boss's mother's estate sale.  We also have several serving bowls, relish trays, and tidbit dishes.  The Staffordshire is very nice, not chintzy at all, at least IMO.  Love the Bluette label.  Great scores!
