David, thanks for getting me in touch with the seller - I got a shipping quote that was nowhere near as bad as I had thought and it turns out there would be no duty on these items! I think I could build a really kick-ass 'atomic' kitchen around these.

Do you guys think I should do this??

Well, I did it, I put in my best offer and they took it! I have had visions of lounge music drifting through my new kitchen ever since I saw this. I will be chronicling the installation of this set in my new house as it progresses - hopefully, it will be in by next fall!

Hey Pete,
I crunched the numbers and looked at my availability and it just makes more sense for me to get it shipped. The guy selling it is saving me some bucks by crating it up and hauling it to the Craters and Freighters depot in Houston. So, with any luck, it will be in my new house in Stanstead by the end of November. Then I'll have all winter to design the ultimate 'atomic' kitchen! WHEEEE!
I will have a Kelvinator electric range and refrigerator (turquoise, of course) to sell off if you know anyone who's looking...
