Extremely Rare Maytag

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Ok, we all know folks are clueless. I like Glenn (Dadoes) story a while back where the guy thinks his stove is gas and it was not, Glenn had to point out it was electric.

BTW, I must bid on this one!

Idiot

Lets all send an email asking questions about the "GE" Maytag--

LOL

Maybe its like in England

Where every vacuum cleaner is a Hoover regardless of its brand? Search Ebay UK, and you'll find listing after listing for Henry Hoovers, and Dyson Hoovers...

I must admit though when I first saw the picture I thought the link was wrong..

When I worked for the Whirlpool dealer, I remember we went on a service call (out of town trip) that turned out to be a Maytag washer instead of Whirlpool. The homeowner had apparently called the wrong service. The Whirlpool dealer *in* that town also handled Maytag, but we didn't. The tranny seal apparently had gone bad, she said there was oil oozing from underneath whenever she ran a load. She had rags stuffed under the edge. Looked like quite a mess.

But .... maybe a premonition of things to come, what with Whirlpool now buying Maytag!

brands

Every tissue is a "Kleenex"

All gelatin is "Jello"

and my grandmother was one of those where every refrigerator was a "Frigidaire"

On a slightly different note, which seems in more common usage, "range" or "stove".

One way of attracting your chevrolet is to slap a cadillac logo on it. Alas you have a 198_ Cimmaron/cavalier or the Cadilac version of the suburban, lol. Do they still make Cadillac? Oldsmobile and GEO are dead, what will be next? I say Pontiac.
Anyway, I have seen, on Ebay, kenmore vacs with the names Kirby, Electrolux, and Rainbow in the title. Just to get peoples attention. How stupid. All it does is stir resentment.
