Fairy Platinum

Has anybody tried the new Fairy Platinum dishwasher pouches, which also provide protection of the machine, by cleaning the drainage system, filters and spray arms.

I got some on special offer, for £3.22 for 22 washes. they clean pretty well.

I was previously using aldis dishwasher tablets (magnum) but stopped using them as they are too big for the dispenser and they stay in there and don't dissolve.

Aldi's tablets here (they are made in Germany). Are brilliant and never leave streaks either.

I don't use a programme with a prewash so don't bother with the dispenser. Just unwrap and place in the bottom near the filter so that there is plenty of water to aid disolving though I have never had an issue....

...So if you like the Aldi tablets, try that and see how you go

I like them, but i unfortunately only have 5 programmes on my dishwasher and only one has a wash with no prerinse, but it doesn't dry the dishes and i am left with loads of suds at the bottom of the tub. dishwasher tablets are meant to fall out of the dispenser when the door opens, but these ones don't, they stick to the dispenser

i prefer having using the dishwasher programme with a drying cycle. have been using the eco wash recently and find it to be very good =]

i might just use the aldi tablets for quick wash programmes
