Well - After turning to you folks for help in January with questions on the Speed Queen, We finally decided to go ahead and order them yesterday afternoon...
We went with the AWN412 Washer and ADE3LR Dryer - Total cost out the door was $1333.08... That Included deliver, haul away of the old washer & dryer, and setup & installation included all the hoses, and the cord set for the Electric Dryer....
They will be delivered on Next Saturday -
Now I have a question for you all - I want to raise the water level in the tub as high as possible - Does anyone know how high up the tub one can safely go without causing damage to the washer ? I was thinking the second or third row of holes from the top?
I do not want it to be so high as to pour over the top of the tub with a large load like a comforter, but I know it will have to be raised...
According to the Dealer, the new Washers made in 2013 now have the water valve opening the same size for both hot and cold - He said the hit side is no longer restricted - So we will have to see if this is true or not - I do not think he is making it up, becuase on the sales card on top of the machine that showed the construction, one of the points made was that Speed Queen is now the only company selling in the US that give you a "pure hot water wash" when you select hot -
We will have to see -
Anyway - Thank you for the help in advance on the Tub Water Level...
