First day of Spring and Spring up and Leaves!

Today is the first day of spring and after 2+ weeks of 60 and 70 degree weather here in mid Mi, the forecast calls for rain and snow for the next few days.

It's been great, I've been wearing shorts and T's and working outside, truly odd for this time of year. Trees are budding. Not sure what it portends.

Here in New England...

It is said that if you get snow after the 1st day of Spring, it is known as "Poor Man's Fertilizer".

Would that be true anywhere else ?

What happened today
Thursday and Friday were fantastic. I was sitting out in my lawnchair barechested and suntanning. Now here today the first day of spring and it's all chilly

Since the beginning of the month, we've had highs in the60s and 70s and even one day it was 80. Today, it's 39 and rainy.

It has been a beautiful day here today, It was around 65 degrees, spent the afternoon sitting out on the porch sipping iced tea. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and in the low 40's

First day of spring in Wichita

We had 4 inches of snow. Parts of KS got up to 12in. But it's all gone today and expected to be in the 60s, can't wait to get the garden started.
