I just never thought about taking a picture of them this weekend!
The timer dial is kind of cool - I had never seen one with a water level control as part of the timer dial! Then again, the Westy has a temperature control as part of its timer...

Wow! A '63 with a mint agitator column! That is a real find! Congrats!
Most unusual to find one with the original energy ring and detergent column intact. Those detergent column rings are like new!
As far as cleaning ability goes, IMO, this agitator combined with the larger tub was the best.

Great find Paul! And it looks to be in very nice condition too. I would have to say that someone took very good care of this machine. You could simply repaint the one side with appliance epoxy paint like I did my "summer home" Maytag and then give the cabinet a nice coat of wax. Or have the top blasted and change the colour to turqoise if you want to take it that far. I sure hope this beautiful machine runs ok for you. I've never had any luck with the Multimatics. :<

To paint or not to paint...
I am thinking the cabinet is already so nice, it would be a shame to paint all of it. I may pair this one up with the 59 GE Clothes Conditioner dryer which is white also.
