Here it is as promised the first wash in the Norge 20lb. I hadn't had time to take it apart and give it a good cleaning, but I did run it through a normal cycle, hot water with detergent and 2 cups of bleach to clean and disinfect the tub. So please excuse the dirt.

Love the noise the burpalator makes---- Fffitt-fffitt-fffitt-- with every forward stroke of the agitator.
Please excuse the dirt.

Does a strange thing for the drain. Does a half tub gravity drain, then begins to spin-drain and starts the spray rinse. And this is the normal cycle, not the permanent press. Does this also in the final drain-spin.

I hope everyone enjoyed the pics. I have since taken the machine apart and given it a good cleaning. It cleaned up real well--- nice and white and shiney! I bought some model paint and plan to touch up some scratches on the control panel. Still looking for the fabric softener dispenser which will complete the set.

Thanks---- Jim

The neutral drain runs until the water level pressure switch resets, then spin starts. You can start it early by turning the water level to reset ... although it might switch back to neutral drain if the water kicks up enough pressure during spin to trigger the switch again.

If i remember correctly

you can turn the water level control to low or exra low to get almost all of the water to drain out before the spin. Always loved how the spray starts so early and flushes suds and stuff right off the clothes. Love your picutre 193559 the xtreme close up of the rinse where the water looks like ice-- just awesome!!

Another Norge excell: When most machines gave more than a half tub of wATER AT "LOW" NORGE will give you genuinely low water levels.

I love them; they are TANKS.

Thanks for the pictures. I remember those machines from Macy's on 34th Street. Always loved that aggressive looking agitator. Didn't CU always give them high marks for washing vigor and very effective extraction?

btw- that's the famous Norge QUARTER MOON

BLEACH DRAWER/DISPENSER ! I think it's really more along the lines of a bleach diffuser since it just allows bleach to
go between the inner and outer tub
