CU did indeed give Norge's high marks for cleaning ability as they had/have a very vigorous agitation. Good points included capacity, water extraction, and tub brake performance. According to CU, the downsides were that it was noisier than most, "The tub brake makes a loud clank at the end of cycles," tended to lint more than others tested, (need to use low speed wash with knits in this baby) water consumption was high.
I had two of these machines and loved both of them, but they really are built like tanks, starting with their 3/4 horsepower motor.
