Beautiful... never seen the Leonard version before, but by this time, I think Kelvinator had bought Leonard, and Leonard appliances were often rebadged Kelvinators (or visa versa)... have seen that on several stoves and fridges. This is a beautiful fridge, but not inexpensive...
That's interesting news. Couldn't have been many of those made or sold you'd think. Where exactly were Leonard fridges popular anyways.. I can remember seeing maybe one at someone house when I was a kid and only remembering it because it seemed like an odd name on a fridge.
We had a Leonard fridge in our house when I was growing up. In fact it still runs and is in the basement in my sister's house being used for pop, beer, etc.
Leonard's pop-up in the Upper Midwest every once-in-a-great-while. What about other parts of the US? Pic #8 is a dead giveaway that this fridge has Kelvinator roots because of the knight logo on the Breakfast Bar door.
