Just got one in to replace a $100 Swiss Diamond that lost nearly all its non stick stuff.
Frig, this is MN made so you'll appreciate the fact I sought out USA made cookware and the fact it is made in MN is icing on the cake would you agree?
Already I fried mass produced non union factory eggs and made flapjacks. I must say it heats as evenly as my beloved Lodge Cast iron beast but is much lighter. With a bare minimum of veg oil, I might add. Sure it is hand wash but that does not bother me. After all the Lodge is hand wash also (but I use salt to clean it rather than soap)
I don't know if it is oven safe and Nordic Ware site does not state one way or the other. In the few times I have used it, I am pretty impressed. How long the non POFA stick surface lasts is another matter.
At any rate, I was out $70 for both the skillet and a matching made in China lid with a vent hole. Shipping was free.
