Help Support :

Eric- It is electric. Do you need it to be gas?

Customer #59- The dryer is the perforated drum. It's a 1961 which is also the first year for the belt around the drum.
Thank you for contacting customer service.

The cap...

I do remember that. Unfortunately, rinse aid came with the dishwasher so it was almost always put in or it was put in simply because the dishwasher reminded them to do it. Mine actually did have a leak and compromised wiring so as much as I simply loved the dishwasher, I couldn't leave it be... Insult to injury was them offering a cheap 5600 tall tub dishwasher in trade. Talk about going from Cadillac to a yugo... Of course, it didn't help having the village idiots run the recall campaign... Nope, no bad feelings here...

Jason,

Yeah, It'd have to be gas. Volts are just too expensive around here to justify using them to dry. If I had my choice, I would have a Maytag gas dryer, something to match my A806. I have a HOH 600 series dryer in the shed, but its electric. That Kenmore is nice enough to override my desire for a matched set, but not with electric heat.

Oh well. :-)

Drew, if it was your dishwasher why didn't you just cut out the bad part of the harness and replace it?

Yes, it is sad what they gave you in return, but what do you expect. Kitchenaid did the same thing when you put in a claim against the porcelain tank 25 year warranty on the d/w.

That sounds like an awesome dryer

I would love to have that dryer if no one else has claimed it. I must have missed the posting with the picture in it. I just gotta get my "driver" with the pickup to go with me down South a bit lol! Not sure if it would feel comfy laying down in the back of a station wagon.

The 1965 Whirlpool Imperial Mark 12 Gas Dryer from post 437199. That 37k btu burner will make short work of my laundry. I should give you a call, probably tonight so we can catch up. Thanks and talk to you soon!

No matter what I type, I cannot seem to locate the dryer thread. It does not show up in any of the current threads or in the 2010 archives. Even checked the 09's for kicks. May you please link to it?
