Can't be a 1965 Gyrafoam....GE did not introduce avacodo

and i know that at least Maytag and and Whirlpool were still offering turqouise in 1966 and maybe even early 1967.. The sure way to tell what year it is would be by looking inside the dryer. If it has a staionary bulkhead it was made in 1966 or after .......PAT COFFEY

Steve (Gyrafoam) is absolutely right. That is definitely a 1965 model Kenmore 800. It may very well have been built during 1966 or 1967 even, but it's a 1965 model, which is what I think he meant.

I just got a 65 800 set, and they were built in late 1966.
