I have a booklet from Norge titled, "Let's Cook Up A Wash". I'm thinking it is from the late 50's-early 60's. If anyone is interested let me know via this thread. Remember, 1st come, 1st served.
 
That's a Norge booklet. I had or might still have a copy. it discusses all of the factors that go into good laundering and has hints for washing special things, like blankets using the Norge Ripplet, a special agitator with hardly any raised vanes allowing machine washing of wool blankets without pilling, felting (compacting or crushing the nap) tearing or stretching.
 
Inneresting. I have a Westy Laundromat booklet from 1950 (I think) that contains many laundry "recipes."

Guess they figured women only understood one thing...
