David the tabs are different I would say. .

The Lidl tablets are made of the "hundreds and thousands" where the Aldi tablets are compressed powder. (Hope that Makes sense). The Aldi one I used fully dissolved in the drawer withoout any problems. The Lidl ones I have to crush up first. Ive just compared the 2 and the Lidl one is slightly thicker but less wide than the Aldi one.
The packets are also different. The design to show you what to do with them is different and also it shows you a different way on opening them on each one.The 2 tone design though is the same.
But who knows they could still be made by the same company but made to look completely different.

Well completely ballsed that test up. For some reason because of the suds I assumed the powder had dissolved in the drawer...Wrong!

Only half the tablet dissolved so the results are faulty as it's only on half a tablet!

Im now rewashing it with a Tesco Bio Tablet with phosphates and ive just checked and all the tablet plus the half Aldi one has been dissolved .

Half the tablet left!

Even though clearly there are still some mud stains, personally I would say good results for using half a tablet with the amount of soil it had and temperature used. It recommended 2 tablets for heavy soil.

Hey Mark

Personally id say that was pretty damn impressive for half a tablet!.

Im sure one would have been better, and the recommended 2 would have been spotless!

I brought a box of Formil Colour tabs and from the one dark load ive done im very impressed :).

I have a rule to myself that I very rarely break- if a detergent works out 12p a load or less at the recommended dose its a bargain if not I avoid it!

Todays Bargain...

Hey Guys

Asda are selling off their old packing/style Bio tabs @ £1.50 for a 48 tab box.

I couldnt resist- especially as the ingredients include >30% phosphate :)

Thanks for the tip Seamus. Unfortunately in our nearest Asda they only had the Lavender ones going cheap...yuk.

Impressive Results

Hi Mark,
Very impressive considering it was only half a tablet reached the wash load.

The Aldi Tabs must be made by a different company if they don't have that Hundreds & Thousands look to them. The Lidl Formil Tabs with their Hundreds & Thousands particles look identical to Henkel Tabs don't you think?
