Because then it is no longer automatic.

This is a job for a toggle switch.

Just add a switch between a jumper and bridge the hot/live side of the cold wsolenoid to the hot/live side of the hot solenoid.

Every time "cold" is called for (when the switch is "on") you'll get warm).

Be sure to leave switch "off" when selecting "warm" or "hot".

Hey guys!
Sorry to be late in responding. I will be glad to send the pages of the manual to get at the water level control. You have to be careful not to break any of the plastic doohickies when you take apart the console. I used a regular small screwdriver (crosshead) if I remember correctly. I have taken pics from this weekend of it in action. I'll post them tonight. The manufacture date is 2006.
