My good kirby friend found a dream machine at the local goodwill for a meer $9!!!
This my friends is a 1933 Hoover 450. The little brother of the 800.... my 2nd most favorite vacuum cleaner ever!
Its almost identical on top, except for paint. Underneath is a tad different with a bizarre bottom plate reminiscent of later hoovers, and a single speed motor.
He said it runs quiet and smooth.
its got a later hoover commercial convertible outer bag on it, and an ugly white cord. But I have a black cord that will look nice on it. The machine is in overall quite nice condition.
These are pics he sent me. Going to pick it up later this week after I finish the diamond and ultimate G he gave me. He is also giving me a 1980s hoover conquest commercial vacuum!
