Hi everyone, first post here. I recently purchased myself a '61 or '62 Flair (model # RCIB-645-2 Serial#47C78035R) for my 30th birthday. I am amassing quite a collection of mid-century stuff but this is my first major appliance. My husband and I just finished building a base cabinet and got it lifted up on there a few days ago, next step is wiring the new power cord. After taking off the back panels to have a look inside, we found this plug and chafed (blue) wire. Any idea what it is? I have the repair manual but we haven't gotten too deep yet. When I purchased this stove I was told everything works but the clock and speed heat burner. The clock has black scorch marks on the face coming from inside. Just want to make sure (mostly) everything is working AND it is safe before I start tearing kitchen cabinets out to fit this beast in! On a side note, my husband is fairly knowledgeable with wiring (he works on lighted signs for a living) he just hasn't had much time to look into this for me yet

That's the rotisserie connector, it fails on many if not most Frigidaire ranges (not just Flairs!).

It looks like yours was already fixed.

Just remember that if you ever want to get the rotisserie kit, you won't have the plug for it (and at the price they're selling for, you shouldn't want to have this accessory!).

Thank you! So nothing I need to worry about then? I can't imagine having the need for a rotisserie, unless I found it super cheap and even then I would probably never use it. Here's a front shot for fun, pardon the mess we are doing a little remodeling, can't wait to get her installed :)
