I have a 1960 Frigidaire Imperial Custom Electric Cooktop (and double wall oven) and parts are just now starting to wear out. I need a new support (star) for the 8" "heat minder" element on the front right of the cooktop. Because it has a temp sensor in it, the standard star from the flair oven will not fit because the center hole is not large enough. I have not found one on ebay - there are lots of supports for 6" but not 8" and I do not have a part number for it. I thought this might be a good place to search for either the part or a source.
