I am just finishing painting a house with five dogs. No problem with the dogs but the home owner was kinda lack with the housekeeping.
As I was leaving today I noticed that the dogs had been peeing on my drop sheets. I knew the homeowners were gone for the day and the washer was available. I really didn't want to put urine scented drop sheets in my car.
I know I should not be using someone's washer without asking but I think I did them a favour.
Yesterday, the man of the house helped me pull out the washer and dryer to paint behind. He said the new front loaders are crap especially the pumps on them.
The washer was draining into the laundry tub instead of the standpipe.
I think the flexing and moving of the washer and hose freed things up.
As I watched to see the water come out on the first spin of the drop sheets I was horrified. This turd popped out first. Then the filth and stench that came after was sickening. Oddly enough there was little dog hair. It is more like a waxy build up of soap and fabric softener.
I am washing the drop sheets again.
