I've seen it speed up and slosh like that before the one I had (looked like Westytoploaders) did the same thing.

No, the pump is quite quiet.

I have a Sanyo too, works just like the GE, but has a water-flow return. Has a sump trap, and plastic top also. It has a separate motor for the pump too. A few weeks ago, someone gave me another Sanyo. The lady says that the timer in the second Sanyo is bad, but I have not tested the machine yet.

Kevin, there's no lights on it so it wouldn't fit with the tanning salon image you have going there. Even if it wouldn't fit, it IS portable. I'll just tow it behind the truck after lubing the rollers a little bit...

So I hope that you did take this little thing home with you Drew, right? I was wondering, it didn't leak any water when it went sloshing around like crazy did it? Looked like it overflowed over the top of the basket but couldn't tell if it was just going into the outer tub or not.
