So in planning for my new laundry room, I'm likely to install a laundry sink....according to the website, the water consumption on a SQ top load is 31.4 gallons...presumably this is for a single rinse cycle. This suggests that each fill is 15.7 gallons and presumably that's for the highest water level as the machine is delivered. I want to install a sink which will accommodate at least one complete train. What I need to know, is how many gallons there is in a fill with the adjusted water level. Does anyone know?

not sure if this helps.....but its a 3.3 cu ft tub.....

using this conversion of full usable capacity.....

There are 7.48 gallons in a cubic foot, so to convert cuft to gallons, divide the number of cuft by 7.48....which should come out to 22.7666....so roughly 23 gallons if using all of the capacity.....

don't forget the number the website gave you included spray rinses...

I have a standard 20 gallon washtub....which more than accomodates the pump out water of any machine, note tub is also draining as water is pouring in....usually it gets to about 5 inches deep and stays there, from the continuous flow of both...

<blush>

Yes, when seeing the specs, I saw the 3.3 cubic feet and it didn't strike me! (Picture me embarrassed!) Sounds like a 20 gallon laundry sink ought to work!
