I think I saw a couple of those stoves recently.

OK, there it is, my dream stove, a 30" wonder with the automatic rotisserie, meat thermometer, sensi-temp burner, cool knobs, the J757. And I've NEVER even seen one since the 70's. I think these look like those GE TOL's washers from 1964-1966.

We had the TOL double oven for a little while. Fabulous! In copper even!!

One day if I'm lucky, I'm going to put the JK 19 and the JR 19 together side by side.

Those 2-burner SERIOUS GE cooktops were one of the most useful products they ever made. Can't understand why they were discontinued.

We had the WWA8500 for a little while. Best, BEST dispensing system ever!!!! Would have been a great machine if not for the idiotic straight-8 activator. Useless except for the mini-basket application.

The DDE7900 dryer was a great machine. Fast, quiet and the electronic sensor worked perfectly.

GE ELECTRIC RANGES

Hi Ken thanks for posting this GE range catalog. My favorite is the eye-level Versatronic range you may remember we had a harvest gold one of these hooked up at the Washington wash-in. Happy electric cooking and happy holidays to all.

Kind of kills me to think that 30 years ago I could have had a very viable career doing the graphics for these catalogues.

We had the SD460 for a little while and it turned us all off of GE dishwashers forever.

I miss garbage disposers. Wish I could have one but my septic system person tells me that they grind up the food too small to decompose and it goes right into the fields where it clogs everything up. I just love the idea of dumping everything down the sink, out of sight, out of mind.

I saw this Go-Go disposer at a Church tag sale recently. So tempted to buy it but wimped out.
