Maybe a stupid question, but here goes. Can the motor start switch be replaced on the newer GE dryers (model # DBXR463EDOWW) or does the entire motor have to be replaced? Friends have one with heat issues that I think I've traced to the motor switch. Sometimes heats, sometimes doesn't. When there's no heat, some gentle tapping on the start switch with a screw driver will get the heat going. Any suggestions?
