GE Freezer

This came in the other day. 50's GE freezer. Decent shape for it's age, needed a cord. Wired one up temporarily, and it took off running. After about a day, holding 10 degrees. Anyone interested? Pick it up in South Bend IN, and it's yours. No shipping, no delivery, yada, yada.....

Mid 50s GE upright freezer

These were neat well built freezers, it should easily go to 0° at mid Dail setting and only run half the time if it’s running all the time and only holding 10° it has a bad compressor very common problem for these.

Otherwise they would go on just about forever.

No, it cycles, like it should. I thought 10 degrees was pretty good, for as old as it is.
