GE Transmission

Hey guy!

I won a batch of parts on ebay a couple of weeks ago for older model GE washers. As it turns out, the spline for the old agitators does not fit on the newer filter-flo transmissions. Since I already have an older transmission as a replacement I won't be needing this new one.

The transmission is brand new and still wrapped in its original plastic and box. It is the shorter (15 1/2") shaft that works on standard tub filter-flo models (GE, Hotpoint, RCA).

If anyone is in need of a transmission like this please send me a note and feel free to make an offer.

Isn't there a spline attachment that can be had so that the other agitators can be used? Oh Mike.....

I'm not really sure. I had to buy older style splines because I have two old agitators. Since I already have an older transmission I don't need the new one. Just thought I'd offer it here first before I post it on ebay or craigslist.
