I got the absolute best Christmas present that an appliance collector could hope for - a working timer motor for the GE washer/dryer combo!! Three cheers for Midwest Timer!!
This means I can finally get cracking on the rewiring and testing it in preparation for installation (with any luck) this February.
I would like to test the motor but I am not 100% certain of how to hook it up. Here's part of the original wiring diagram (it's in pretty rough shape) and from what I could make of it, I should hook the live (black) wire from a standard 120v line to the Dark Blue (terminal 4) and the white wire to the White (terminal 3) on the motor. Naturally, I do not want to fry the motor, so I figured it was best to ask.
