1)GE Electric Stove (vintage/retro 70's) MINT/department store condition - $100 (Crystal) http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/app/4271782340.html

This is a GE Electric Stove in MINT condition. GE full size (vintage late 70's) self cleaning oven with pan storage drawer below. Looks like it came straight from the department store! Used (maybe) a dozen times, at best. The burners, oven, etc. all work perfectly. No grease, dirt, etc. Chrome, white enamel, glass, control panel all are perfect. The inside of the stove looks like it never heated any dinner.. For those looking for a perfect working stove and a retro feel, here it is. Must s

Here's the GE:

And it is very nice indeed! Price is nice, too.

Had I not found my dream range recently, I'd be salivating over this one. It wouldn't have been as perfect as the one I now own (I'm not a fan of black glass nor of Ye Olde Fayke Woode Graine), but it would have been very okay. It has P*7 but does not have Sensi-Temp. It also has Coil Select, renamed Power Saver, so that you can use a 4-inch, 6-inch or 8-inch area of the right front burner.

That Westinghouse

Would be a great stove, but someone wore out the broiler! NASTY NASTY NASTY!! I absolutely forbid meat being broiled in my stove, If I want a steak or hamburgers I will go out!!

The Westy:

Is very early '70s, I'll bet. It's very similar to one I had for a time.

That nasty oven appears to be continuous-clean, which is why it looks like crap now. Very few people knew the trick to reviving an overloaded CC coating, which was to scrub it with a soft-bristle brush and sudsy ammonia, rinse, then run the oven at 500 degrees for a while to burn off any residues.

This is a $100 range, tops.
