I think that was the washer I grew up with from birth until Jan. 1994. I think it might be around a 1981 model. Ours was not TOL, but it had the Burpalator lint filter and the fabric softener dispenser on top of that. The control panel looks identical.
This machine was disposed of because of the matching dryer. The dryer was nothing to sing about. It had one temperature setting: scorch! It had only 1 knob which was the control dial and the start switch. It had a VERY loud buzzer too. It was a positive pressure Norge flocker design and covered the kitchen with lint (the washer and dryer were in a closet in the kitchen). I don't recall which machine was the pull to start and which was the push to start (I think the dryer was push to start). My folks were/are too cheap to repair anything, so when the dryer's control knob broke off, it was replaced with a pair of vice grips.
When my folks got sick of the dryer, they bought a Kenmore 80 series direct drive set and got rid of the MW pair. I have never seen a MW pair before or since and I thought I would never find reference to that set again, much less the same model!
What are your plans for it?
