not a fully knowledgable answer, but...
...I've seen and used that Gorenje electronic washer with 2200 rpms. It has that neat little LCD display with some Mickey Mouse gloves wringing out some clothes during the spin cycle.
I do know that some Gorenje machines were sold here in the 70s and 80s as AEG, Quelle and Neckerman, but this is just a trade affair.
Todays' Gorenjes seem to have cought up with modern times and technology.
While not having any experiences with them, I do trust they can do a marvellous job: Auto sense, 2200 rpm spin speed and woolens' swing & shake cycle do tell a lot. The only thing that is left to be checked is their dependability: Corrosions? Drum spider decay? No ideas about that.
For the time being: That one specific Gorenje machine did a wonderful job, the clothes were spic & span.
Very low noised, very clean after the cycle (talking about detergent drawer).
And above all: What is cuter than a wringing LCD display to indicate the spin cycle? I was in love, that rising jet engine sound of the spin topped it off.
Guys, is there any better than 2200 rpm in a supersized front loader?
I could not notice any imbalance on that demo machine. A dream, if you ask me!
Hope that day to day practical testing shows the same results.
But asked alongside a curb, just like that? Gorenje? YES!
