I'm sorry to hear this. She is with you always and lives inside your thought and mind now.

May her memory be eternal. I guess I should say may your memory of her be eternal.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am facing the same thing with my own soon-to-be 85 y/o mother. We are all hoping she won't live with the disease for 10 years, something else old-age-related will take her. It hurts to observe her not being the same person she always was.

Sincere condolences RDJ.

If it's any consolation, we should all live to be that age. Chances are very good I'll never see 59 let alone 95.

I was very close to my grandmother too.We called her"Mado"instead of nanna, granny or grandma. She would take me with her to our church's lady's guild meetings and bus trips to different cities in Maryland,D.C,Pennsylvania and Delaware.Ms.Marie Langenfelder was one of her best friends among that group and she'd have us come to their shorehome along the Middle River and go on their boat to catch some crabs!During her batle with strokes,I was the only one of twelve grandchildren who'd go visit her. We'd had some major dissagreements that melted during our last days together. The big brick wall that had built up between us fell down and our friendship with forgiveness, love and acceptance will last forever.I,along with she was at peace when she died and everyone there was shocked to see me smiling. My condolances and sympathy are with you!

Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Even when we know it is a blessing it still hurts.
